Occasionally I get asked to engrave windows, doors and panels. Working on a much larger scale produces its own challenges, as I usually have to work on site. This requires travelling, working in either extreme cold or hot and sometimes on scaffolding. Not having a great head for heights this can be quite tough. But the result does bring great satisfaction when it’s all done and one can look at it from a distance. The most challenging have been two in particular, which you can see below. Firstly, two sets of doors at Sing Mun Springs, Northern Territories, just above the city of Cha Tin for Jackie Pullinger and secondly the largest window I’ve done for Bethel Chapel, at the Vanessa Grant School at Rongai in Kenya.
